I found this short clip about world hunger. It is by a film maker named Ferdinand Dimadura. It was created in 2005 and I think this is a topic that not everyone really understands. It's part of globalization because now we have a chance to help these countries solve their problems as technology and awareness arises. A global culture to me is just people who are surviving through life through of hope and determination. There are so many people in the world that rely on these 2 factors just to survive. It is impossible to describe how they do it day after day when most Americans don't think about when the next meal will be. Most of the these people have the characteristics to succeed in life but will never get the chance to. Life is really about surviving whether you want to believe it or not. No one is given a good life but it is the way you look at it and how you use it that counts.
Questions:
Does the U.S. feel responsible for helping underdeveloped countries?
What can big companies in the world who influence us everyday do to solve world hunger?
