Clean Water

There are many different ways that people are trying to bring about clean water including desalination, water recycling, and even just plain conservatism. I was wondering though what you think is the best course of action of bringing about safe drinking water to the nations in Africa who so desperately need it, but who also lack the infrastructure and government support to do so.
