Walmart fiesta

Walmart Walmart Walmart. I really felt as if this weekend's reading was one-sided and repetitive, although I did have to agree with many of the points the author made. I find it atrocious and appalling that it is possible for human beings to sit in sweat shops for hours working their tails off for barely anything. People have to support families and themselves and to even exist many have to put their lives in jeopardy to have jobs. Greedy corporations are exploiting workers for their own personal gain. Many argue that these entrepreneurs worked their way up from the bottom but it is completely unfair that the people making their merchandise can barely afford dinner while the people running the company are traveling on private jets eating caviar in their 500,000 sq foot houses. It takes a CEO of a company 2 hours to make what the average American makes in a year. 2 hours!!!!!! If that isn't greedy I'm not sure what is. And that's just America. Although times are tough right now and spending 40$ on a hat is completely unreasonable I firmly believe that if, as Americans, we all stood up and made our voices heard in some way to change this pattern of greed that everyone could benefit in the end.
