Accredited Labor Compliance Programs

If the Fair Labor Association accredits labor compliance programs for companies like Patagonia and H&M, why doesn't the government and media make a bigger deal out of honoring and patronizing these companies? I had no idea there is already some sort of "preferred list," and would be interested in knowing which companies are accredited.
