Wal-mart mess

I have to say Wal-mart has had an impact in my life because I can remember watching Wal-mart videos in middle school about how dominate this company has been. What I got from the readings was that Wal-mart is too powerful and too influencial to free trade. This company has done something impossible and monopolize the retail industry. I mean if you think about it Wal-mart has taken so much of the small business and competition out of the cycle that eventually it is not worth fighting this giant corporation. To consumers it is the greatest thing to happen to them.

In my opinion, Wal-mart has already taken over everyone's daily lives. It's going to be a powerhouse that can not be stopped soon. Wal-mart will control most of consumer goods and services. However, I don't think this is a bad thing because everything in life is a business. In business it is a dog eat dog attitude. Wal-mart will become top dog soon. I believe that because of this, other countries will be forced to specalize in more than everyday items or come up with new things. Either way, it is all about constantly changing. For the developed countries there advantage is to come up with new ways to create jobs and new techonology. I say this because it will be very hard for less developed countries to suddenly become one of the top developed countries without research instuitions. Developed countries have infrastructure and good economies.

So basically Wal-mart in my opinion will dominate the retail industry to where it will become a monolopy. This will help force the developing countries to try and advance in something tech-wise. For the under developed countries most of them are so far behind that it would be best for them to keep specalizing in what they do.
