Question for Thursday!

As we all know there is an economic crisis happening all over the world, jobs are lost, the economy is in shambles, there are unfair practices and policies. My question is what types of attempts have been made to establish a set of universal guidelines and regulations for fair trade? How can this type of system work to be equitable and fair worldwide? How can all countries all over the world establish a global system that can benefit all that are undergoing economic difficulties at this time?
